The annual Culdaff New Year’s Day swim was a great excuse for locals and visitors to start 2018 with a fresh dip in the Atlantic.

The event is a hardy annual event and a big crowd again braved the chilly conditions for the afternoon swim.

The event had another great turnout to raise funds for local charities. See the photos below by North West Newspix:
