The Man of the Match in Sunday’s Donegal senior football championship final will be presented with the Peadar McGeehin Memorial Trophy.

It will be the 11th year for the prestigious trophy to be awarded on county final Sunday.

In 2008, the 25th anniversary of St Eunan’s SFC win in 1983 – a team managed by Peadar McGeehin – the McGeehin family donated the award for the first time.

Fittingly, a St Eunan’s player – Brendan Devenney – was the first recipient.

Glenswilly’s Michael Murphy has won it three times, while Leo McLoone of Naomh Conaill has won it twice previously.
