One of Irish sport’s most successful ever managers, Patsy McGonagle, has stepped down from his post as Irish Athletics Team Manager after 25 years – just check out his record!

Finn Valley AC’s McGonagle managed the Irish Athletics team 68 teams and announced today that he was stepping down from the role.

Only Jack Charlton and Eddie O’Sullivan have overseen Irish teams more than McGonagle, whose career spanned four Olymic Games and six World Championships.
