MATTHEW CROSSAN has become the latest player to sign on at Finn Harps for the 2016 season.
Crossan is in his fourth spell at Harps and he has made 107 appearance for the Ballybofey side, scoring nine goals.
Crossan was snapped up last year by Ollie Horgan when he was lining out for Kildrum Tigers in the Donegal League.
The Killea native was an integral member of the promotion-winning squad at Finn Park in 2015, as he played 28 times in all and his versatility was a real plus for Horgan.
Crossan first played for Harps in April 2006 and he scored four goals in 28 appearances during that first campaign, under Anthony Gorman’s watch.
He was back at Harps for the 2010 season and had a brief stint at the club again in 2013, only to leave in that summer’s transfer window.
The 29-year-old, comfortable in an array of positions, made his 100th appearance against Cobh Ramblers in September and becomes the 11th player to commit to Harps.
Ryan McConnell and Ryan Curran are the new faces with Crossan joining Ciaran Gallagher, Ciaran Coll, Raymond Foy, Gareth Harkin, Tony McNamee, Michael Funston, Thomas McMonagle and Kevin McHugh in penning new deals at the club.
