Donegal GAA fans will be able to take in a double-header on Sunday-week at O’Donnell Park.

The Donegal Ladies will take on Monaghan in a Lidl NFL Division 1 clash.

The game will be a curtain-raiser to the Allianz League Division 2 meeting of Donegal and Fermanagh.

Maxi Curran’s ladies have won their opening two games in a bright and encouraging start to 2019.

After defeating defending League and reigning All-Ireland champions Dublin last Saturday night at Croke Park, the Donegal ladies overcame Mayo 3-10 to 2-7 at Convoy yesterday.

Karen Guthrie, who was the hero of the hour against Dublin, hit 1-5 yesterday, while Ciara Grant and Roisin Friel also netted.

Monaghan lost out 1-9 to 1-7 against Galway on Saturday evening.

The Donegal-Fermanagh fixture will be eagerly anticipated, too, as it brings Donegal face-to-face with former manager Rory Gallagher. The game is a repeat of last year’s Ulster final and a prelude to their Ulster SFC opener this year.

Donegal will be hoping to return to winning ways, following a 3-9 to 0-13 loss against Tipperary yesterday at Semple Stadium.

The Donegal-Monaghan ladies game will throw-in at 12 noon with the Donegal-Fermanagh clash underway at 2pm.
