No changes to executive nor motions put forward at Ulster Senior League AGM

IT’LL BE A case of as you were for the executive of the Ulster Senior League following tonight’s AGM at the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny.

None of the positions were challenged so it was just a matter of formality for those at the top table, although secretary Niall Callaghan did reveal that this coming season would be his last.

There were also no motions, with the only one that had been submitted by Fanad United having been withdrawn on Monday. It was in relation to moving to 12 noon kick-off and would’ve got the support of Cockhill Celtic.

Their representative Gavin Cullen expressed his disappointment that they were not aware that motion had been withdrawn and that they wouldn’t be allowed to submit a similar one on the night.

Cockhill can make the application to have the motion put forward if they get a two-thirds majority of the votes – at an Extraordinary General Meeting, if the so wish.

Ulster Senior League executive 2019/20
