Naomh Ultan have Division 4 in the bag but there’s still plenty to play for

NAOMH ULTAN have topped the Marley Coach Hire Division 4 with the best record of any team in the county.

The Dunkineely outfit (pictured above) have dropped just a single point all season – way back on the first weekend in April when they drew 2-5 to 1-8 at Naomh Padraig, Lifford – and already have confirmed their status as champions.

Seeing as Naomh Ultan are not in action this weekend, Carndonagh, who are in second place seven points behind with a game in hand, have a chance to consolidate their position when they travel to Dooey to face Na Rossa on Sunday.

The Inishowen outfit were in fine form last weekend when they last fielded, four weeks ago in a 3-13 to 0-4 win over Robert Emmets.

Fourth-placed St Mary’s Convoy haven’t given up the ghost on promotion just yet and on Saturday they welcome bottom of the table Pettigo. That same day, there’s a derby on the peninsula as Naomh Padraig Muff play host to Moville.
