Naomh Colmcille seek applications for new senior manager

NAOMH COLMCILLE HAVE confirmed that they are on the hunt for a new manager for the 2017 campaign.

The Newtown-based side had a troubled campaign in 2016 and suffered relegation in both the League and the Championship.

Having reached the Intermediate Championship final for the first time in 2015, when they lost to Bundoran in the decider, their campaign never caught fire this year.

Francie Martin, who had been manager for the run to the Intermediate final, began the year as manager at Pairc Colmcille, but parted ways with the club, who then appointed Desertmartin native Paul Bradley to the position in June.

Naomh Colmcille won just three League games and were relegated to Division 4.

They also made their way out of the Intermediate Championship and will play in the Junior Championship next year, following a play-off defeat by Carndonagh.
