MULROY ACADEMY have opted to temporarily suspend opportunities as a precaution ‘due to a reported Covid 19 incident’ for at least seven days.
The club compete in the Donegal Schoolboys League and also have a team in the Donegal Women’s League and follow in the footsteps this week of Drumkeen United and Curragh Athletic in suspending activities.
A statement from Mulroy Academy reads:”Due to a reported Covid 19 incident in our community, Mulroy Academy have taken the decision to temporarily suspend all club activities for a period of 7 days.
“This course of action is taken as a precautionary measure in the best interests of the community. Mulroy Academy has a duty of care and responsibility to its players, parents coaching staff, volunteers and the wider community. The club will monitor the situation in the week ahead and a further update will be provided after the 7 day suspension period.”
