Ballybofey rugby star Larissa Muldoon is the new head coach at Trinity Women’s Rugby.

Larissa is currently playing for Leinster and Railway Union where she also won the All-Ireland Division 1 League in 2019. She has also previously played for Ulster, Cardiff Blues, Ospreys and Irish Exiles.

An experienced international, Larissa has represented Ireland in the 2014 and 2017 World Cups and also in the 2013 7s World Series and 2013 7s World Cup.

On top of that, Larissa also has a wide range of coaching experience.

She is currently a Metro U18 Girls Coach for Leinster Area Squads and previously coached The Kings Hospital girls as well as the DCU women’s team.

She also played underage Gaelic football for Donegal growing up and carried her love of sport to rugby where she has experienced great success.

A spokesperson for the college’s rugby team said “We are thrilled to have Larissa’s experience on the team and cannot wait to start training.”
