MOVILLE MINORS LADIES are in Ulster final action tomorrow when they meet Clan Eireann from Armagh at Celtic Park in Derry (throw-in 1pm).

Paul McDermott’s team have been stopped in their tracks in the last two years, losing out to Shane O’Neill’s from Armagh in the 2013 final, 6-13 to 5-13, and Eastern Gaels of Cavan in a semi-final last year, 3-4 to 2-5.

After defeating Gaeil Fhánada in the Donegal final. Moville have beaten Errigal Ciarán and Lurgan to reach the provincial final.

They defeated Errigal Ciarán 2-11 to 1-4 with Eimear McLaughlin landing 1-4 and Emma Doherty on the mark with the other goal on a day when they hit 1-10 in the second period.

In the semi, they overcame Lurgan in Moville as Sarah Jane McDonald (2-2), Sinead McGuinness, Nicole McDermott (1-2 each), Carrigh McGuinness (1-1) and Ciara Harkin (1-0) doing the damage in a 6-9 to 3-9 win for the Inishowen side with all six goals coming in the second half.
