We would like to offer our sincere sympathy to the family of the late John McLaughlin, Malin, killed in a car collision on his way to u16 training on Monday evening, and to all in Malin GAA Club and the wider Inishowen GAA community.  Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.

LADIES

Senior, junior, minor and u16 training is up and running on Sunday mornings at 10am in Gartan, all players to please attend.

There will be a ladies 7-a-side competition in Gaoth Dobhair on Sunday, details to be confirmed.

The county u16s are playing Mayo in a challenge match this Saturday in Ballyshannon at 2pm, this is last game before their championship, when they play Cavan on 4th March in Cavan at 4pm; we have four girls on the panel: Ríonach Giles, Eimear and Mya Alcorn and Sarah Kho, and we wish the girls all the best in the upcoming games.

Hard luck to the Donegal ladies who made the long journey to Kerry and lost by a single point despite leading for most of the game. This week they are on the road again as they play Dublin away. Good luck to the team and management.

Reminder that the senior ladies are asked to make a special effort to attend bingo this Friday.

Coaching for u14 girls starts Wednesday 22nd at 5pm in Kilmacreannan School. Please wear runners. This training is for girls born 2003-2004. A list of names is need for County Board please forward this information to Joanne Russell ASAP on 0872055218.

FACEBOOK

CLG An Tearmainn are back on Facebook with a new page, so please spread the word, and like and share too!  If you have any photos of any teams/activities going back over the years, please post them to the page, we are trying to build up our history again on the new page.

2017 REGISTRATION THIS SATURDAY

Registration for players and non-playing club members, together with renewal of annual lotto, will take place this Saturday 25th February from 4-6pm in An Craoibhín, we look forward to getting the paperwork out of the way so that the playing can begin!  All registrations and lottos remain at the same price as last year.

AIB HOUSE INSURANCE

AIB Home Insurance has teamed up with the GAA to offer a €50 rebate to a club when a member of that club takes out a new home insurance policy with AIB.  AIB are offering very competitive rates, so, if you find that they can meet your house insurance needs, make sure to tell them that you are a member of Termon GAA Club, and AIB will look after the payment of €50 to the club.

CIORCAL COMHRÁ

Ciorcal Comhrá is taking a break for a fortnight, will resume 10th March.

LOTTO

Last week’s lotto draw took place in Nora’s.  Numbers drawn were 12, 13, 25, 28; there were no match 3 winners, the open draw winners were Lee McGettigan, Bernadette Sweeney & Mary Naughton.  Next week’s draw takes place in the Glenveagh Inn with a jackpot €1,300.  Co-ordinators are Kevin McElwaine and Conor Tinney.

BINGO

With €3,950 in prizes to be given away, don’t forget Bingo is from 9-10.30 pm on Friday nights and a single book costs only €10 and €15 for a double book.

It’s the turn of our senior ladies this Friday night to show their support for our fundraising efforts for the club. Many thanks to Olive McCafferty for very kindly putting this plan together for the club for the year.

The plan is that each team will be asked to make an effort to support the bingo, either by coming to help set up and tidy up, and/or sending parents/players along to play the bingo.  If you are unable to attend personally, perhaps you could send a delegate in your place.

March’s teams are as follows:

3rd March: U-18 Boys
10th March: U-14 Girls
17th March: Senior Men
24th March: U10 Boys and Girls
31st March: U-14 Boys

The schedule will continue throughout the year, working our way through our various teams, and equates to 2/3 nights over the course of the full year, so 2/3 out of 365 nights is a very small commitment that we are asking of our members, to help run the club for the year.

MINOR BOARD IN ASSOCIATION WITH KELLY’S CENTRA, MOUNTAIN TOP
