The Milford Under-14 Ladies travelled to the All Ireland Sevens on Saturday.

In their first game they drew with Dublin champions Cuala before beating Limerick’s Margaret St Pauls and Naomh Eoin of Carlow which put them through to the last 16.

There they met unbeaten Kerry champions Cromane and in a brilliant match they won by a point. This put them through to the quarter final against Dunboyne of Meath and they were beaten by a very strong team who went on to be narrowly beaten in the final.

This was a great day out for the girls and they gave a brilliant account of themselves.

Panel: Niamh Carr, Orla McAteer, Caoimhe Barrett, Claire Murray, Lianne Boyce, Amber Barrett, Karen Peoples, Roisin Boyce, Aoife Donnelly, Niamh Gallagher, Aisling McHugh.
