FOUR MASTERS’ LOSS against MacCumhaill’s this afternoon means that Milford’s AllSportstore.com All-County Football League Division 2 title has been confirmed.

The Milford side, managed by Danny O’Donnell, sealed their promotion last month with a win in Glenfin and last night overcame St Naul’s 2-15 to 1-11 to move onto 25 points.

Stephen Griffin scored a seventh minute penalty for the visitors in a personal haul of 1-8. Darragh Black and Sean Black goals sealed the points for the home side, who take on Malin on Saturday next.

That result meant that Four Masters were the only side who could catch Milford, but the Donegal town outfit lost out 4-11 to 0-11 against MacCumhaill’s this afternoon.

Aaron Kelly, Brian Lafferty, Darren O’Leary and Alan Patton were the goalscorers for the Twin Towns based side.
