Minor Final. CLG BnaG 2-7 Kilcar 1-9
You need certain ingredients to win a Championship, hard work, commitment, work rate, discipline, preparation… and balls, and Connor Gormley showed his were made of cast iron on Saturday as he landed a beauty of a free with the last kick of the game to win the Div 2 Championship Final for Na Galloglaigh.

Read Donegal Sport Hub’s report here.

Intermediate Championship

CLG BnaG v Aodh Ruadh, Sean MacCumhaill Park, Saturday at 5.45pm. In a change to what was released a few days ago the Intermediate Championship quarter final replay against Aodh Ruadh will now take place in MacCumhaill Park at 5.45pm on Saturday 26th. The game will take place prior to the Senior Championship semi final between St Eunans and St Michaels. All support greatly appreciated.

Under-16 Ladies – Fanad Gaels 5-7 CLG BnaG 4-10
Our U16 girls played out a thrilling draw against Fanad Gaels in Trialough on Tuesday night. The game had everything, played at a high intensity, was very physical and both teams could have had several girls sin binned. Playing with the aid of the breeze Na Galloglaigh girls got out of the blocks really quickly and raced into an early lead but conceded two goals which left them leading by five points at half time, but they also suffered a blow on the stroke of half time with their captain sin binned.

The second half was a real battle and they fought for every single ball. Na Galloglaigh led by four points with five minutes left but conceded a sloppy goal and ended up going a point down in injury time but showed great character to work the ball the full length of the field for a brilliant equalising point. Our Ladies now go on to play Carndonagh next week.

Good luck to our Senior Ladies who travel to Dublin for the All Ireland Ladies 7s this weekend. The tournament is being held by the Naomh Mearnog and St Sylvesters sides in the capital. Best of luck to all involved.

Good luck to our U14 Ladies who will also be in Dublin for their All Ireland 7s competition this weekend. Kilmacud Crokes will be the host for this even and best of luck to all the team and management.
