MERVYN O’Donnell was last night installed as the new manager of the Gaoth Dobhair senior team, the club has confirmed.O’Donnell takes over from Conall Sheridan, who was in charge for the last two campaigns.
A club meeting last night ratified O’Donnell’s appointment.
He will be assisted by John Bosco Gallagher and former Donegal player and Donegal SFC winner Martin Coll.
O’Donnell has been heavily involved in the underage ranks at the Magheragallon outfit and will hope to revive the fortunes of Gaoth Dobhair following some disappointing Championship campaigns of late.
