Three-Rivers Shotokan Karate-Club had 7 members travel to Tallaght recently to compete at the IKKU Open, a Kumite-only event.
Compete they did as Ciarán Crawford, Natasha Doherty and Emma Dolan were crowned Open champions in a very high level competition.
Jamie-Lee Simpson and Mark Doherty took silver and young Eoin Crawford won a bronze.
