Matthew Dunne wins the Wednesday Open at Letterkenny Golf Club

The Wednesday Open was held on the November 8th and  Matthew Dunne (20) came in with a winning score of 36 points (bot), getting four pars on his way around the course. 

Greg Sullivan (17) was runner up with 36 points and Vincent Bianconi came in 3rd with 34 points (bot).

There was a big turnout for the Saturday Open on November 11. Greg Sullivan (16) appeared in the winning arena again-  winning the competition with 38 points.  Greg took 6 pars out of the course in what was a good score on the day.  Paddy O’Gorman (21) came in second with 37 points. and Enda O’Donnell (21) came third with 36 points.

On Sunday night November 5th presentations were made to winners of the Matchplay.  The Club Singles Matchplay was won by Jamie Foley, Patrick Keeney was the runner up.

The losing semi-finalists were Noel Duggan and Fergal Callan.  The Club Doubles Matchplay was won by Keith Shiels and Darragh McMenamin.

Runners up were MP O’Donnell and Mark Doherty. The losing semi-finalists were Oisin & Cian Harkin and P. Bonner and Brian McAleer.

The Club Mixed Matchplay was won by Celine Markey and Henry McCahey, the runners up were Anne Sheridan and John Hession.

For those interested Cards are been played in the Club House Bar every Wednesday Night commencing at 8p.m. sharp.
