Martin Harley steered Author’s Dream to victory today in the Betway Casino Handicap at Lingfield Park.
Harley had two lengths to spare on the William Knight-trained Author’s Dream, winning from the 6/4 favourite City Dreamer, with Ryan Moore in the saddle.
Harley stayed wide in the early stages and made good headway to lead two furlongs from home in the two-mile race.
From there, the Trentagh man and Author’s Dream were able to hold onto their lot to win. It was Harley’s 11th win of 2018.
Harley had three mounts today, finishing fourth on Intisaab and fifth aboard Insomniac.
