MARK TIMLIN WAS on the mark for Derry City in tonight’s 3-1 win over Bray Wanderers in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.

The Buncrana native opened the scoring on four minutes at the Brandywell from an eye-catching effort from 25 yards. Dean Jarvis and Patrick McEleney were also on the mark for the side under the caretaker management of Ballindrait native Paul Hegarty.

Barry McNamee from Ramelton was in midfield for the hosts, while Seamus Sharkey of Newtowncunningham played centre-back. Letterkenny duo Cillian Morrison and Shaun Patton were on the bench, as was Ronan Curtis from St Johnston.

Meanwhile, Shaun Kelly from Killybegs was right-back for Limerick FC in their 3-1 win at Galway FC with Vinny Faherty scoring twice and Ian Turner also on the mark.

Ballybofey’s Johnny Dunleavy was an 87th minute substitute for Cork City in their 1-1 draw with Waterford
