Malin club notes – successful fun day for primary school girls

The Malin ladies board held a very succesful fun day for all primary school girls last Saturday with over 80 girls involved.

Well done to all those who took part and to all the coaches for organising the event.

UNDERAGE TRAINING         

Under 6 boys training is on every Sunday from 10:00am – 11:15am          Under 8 boys training is on every Saturday from 3:00pm – 4:15pm         Under 10 boys training is on every Sunday from 11:30am – 12:45pm         Under 12 boys training is on every Sunday from 12.45pm – 2.00pm
Under 14 boys training is on every Saturday from  4.30pm – 6:00pm          Under 16 boys training is on every Monday from 4.00pm to 5.30pm and every Friday from 5.00pm-6.30pm         

Under 6 and Under 8 girls training is on every Saturday from 11:00am to 12:00pm         

Under 10 girls training is on every Saturday from 12:15pm – 1:15pm         Under 14 and Under 16 girls training is on every Wednesday from 5:15pm to 6:15pm        

New members are always welcome to any of these teams.

SYMPATHY

The club would like to extend its sympathy to the family of Mary Ellen Doherty (Mick), Leitir, who passed away recently, she was a big supporter of club functions, helping to organise dances and selling fundraising tickets over many years.

INDOOR SPORTS HALL AND FUNCTION ROOM BOOKINGS       Anyone looking to book the indoor sports hall or the upstairs function & meeting rooms for any activities, classes or meetings are asked to contatct Susan Byrne on 0749370638 or 0867832242. The upstairs function room is an ideal venue for private parties with full kitchen, stage, toilet and bar facilities.

DONEGAL YEARBOOK

The Donegal yearbook is still on sale in the club shop or from John or Susan Byrne costing €10. This features information on all county teams as well as featuring reviews and accounts of the year from all clubs in the county including Malin.

GET FIT WITH CHARLIE  

Get Fit with Charlie is back from Monday the 11th of January with a special 6 week program on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the Malin GAA Centre. Women @ 6:30pm Men @ 8pm €60 each or €50 for 2. Pay as you go for €5 per class. Contact Charlie on 0874103782 or check out his facebook page.
