Chloe and Sam Magee have taken silver at the White Nights championship in Russia after being beaten on Sunday morning.
The Raphoe pair saw off Krishna Prasad Garaga and S Ram Poorvisha of India in the semi-final on Saturday.
However, they couldn’t see past Russian pair Rodion Alimov and Alina Davelotova.
In a high-quality match, Alimov and Davelotova took the first set (21-16) before the siblings hit back with an impressive set of their own to draw the tie.
But, Alimov and Davelotova held their nerve to take the third set (21-16) and the gold title.
The Magee’s will now travel to Indonesia to take on Alimov and Davelotova again in the coming days.
