Magee take on French duo in last 16 in Germany

RAPHOE siblings Sam and Chloe Magee take to the court for the last 16 at the SaarLorLux Open in Germany this morning.

The Magees face Eloi Adam and Margot Lambert from France with a place in the quarter-finals up for grabs,

On Tuesday, the Magees – European Games bronze medalists this summer – overcame Germany’s Bjarne Geiss and Emma Moszczynski 21-17 21-15 to move into the last 16.

Adam and Lambert, for their part, overcame Rohan Kapoor and Sanjana Santosh 21-19 13-21 21-14, in their opener.

Yesterday, Joshua Magee lost out 21-10 21-12 to England’s fifth seed, Toby Penty, having beaten Felix Burestedt from Sweden 21-18 21-9 in the men’s singles.

Joshua Magee and Paul Reynolds lost out to German duo Bjarne Geiss and Jan Colin Volker in the men’s doubles.
