MacCumhaill’s hurler says ‘I don’t’ to Ulster chance and will tie the knot instead

JAMESIE DONNELLY has had to shelve his plans of representing an Ulster XV to play Kilkenny Legends next month.

However, Donnelly (pictured above) has an even bigger day ahead with his wedding so he is unable to take part in the game and had to withdraw from the provincial panel. He’s due to get married to his financeé Claire McDermott next month!

DJ Carey and JJ Delaney have been lined up to play for the Kilkenny Legends against Ulster in Pairc Esler, Newry, on Saturday, November 21.

The Sean MacCumhaill’s defender has had a good year as his club side were County SHC finalists and, alongside Ronan McDermott of Burt, Donnelly was named on the Ricky Rackard Champion 15-All Star team of the year.
