ROMELU LUKAKU’S HAT-TRICK on Monday Night Football cut the men from the boys in the Champions Travel Donegal Sport Hub Fantasy Premier League this week.

To join our league, the code is 1016561-266253.

Our new leader after Gameweek 4 is Aidan McLaughlin, who would certainly have enjoyed the Belgian’s treble – with 17 points – at Sunderland last night.

However, McLaughlin’s ‘Cleverson’ missed out on an even more lucrative return having gambled on Zlatan Ibrahimovic as his – once a season lifeline – treble captain in the Manchester derby. The Swede’s return was therefore was 15 points.

In all McLaughlin got a very healthy 73 points and is now 13 clear of the chasing pack on 265 points.

Damien Duffy’s ‘Elland Road’ are in second place, having scooped 52 points, although Michail Antonio of West Ham United was his only player to hit double-digits with 12.

Marko Cannon’s ‘The Ducks’ were headed for an ignominious weekend until his decision to captain Lukaku, which garnered 34 points, brought his weekly haul to 54. His total is now 250.

Diego Costa was the star man for joint third-placed ‘Petr Cech Yourself’ – the team picked by Stanley Baskin – as the Spainish international captain, with the armband returned 24 points and Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino took home 15. Baskin’s total is now also 250.

Also on 250 – after amassing 49 this weekend – and sharing third spot is Andrewe McKnight’s ‘Zlatan Time’ – who saw Etienne Capoue of Watford grab a goal and an assist at West Ham to grab 13 points.
