FINN HARPS are looking to halt the slide this evening as Ollie Horgan’s men – on a run of nine defeats in a row – take on Sligo Rovers at The Showgrounds.

FT Sligo 0 Finn Harps 0

90 PENALTY MISS as Cretaro blazes over the bar for Sligo. Joy for Harps, but we still have 3 mins to play…SR 0 FH 0

75 – Harkin’s free kick is cleared to Funston, who goes for one of his specials, but it’s narrowly wide. SR 0 FH 0

72 – Tony McNamee replaces Adam Hanlon.

69 – Campion gets by Cowan, much too easily, but he shoots wide of the far post. SR 0 FH 0

63 – Liam Martin whizzes a shot just over the top. Brush had it covered, mind. SR 0 FH 0

Not much has happened since. Harps would be quite content if it stays this way! SR 0 FH 0

46 – In the opening minute of the second half, Toby Adebayo-Rowling almost chests into his own net from Gareth Harkin’s cross and goalkeeper Nugent saves. Seconds later, Adebayo-Rowling hooks off the line from Houston, whose follow up is also off the line from Liam Martin.

40 – Let off for Harps. Kearns’ corner from the left is touched on and Campion, somehow, can’t convert at the far post. SR 0 FH 0

39 – Cretaro works a chance, but shoots into the grateful arms of Brush. SR 0 FH 0

37 – After Achille Campion leaves Packie Mailey for dead his cross seems perfect for Pat McCann, but the American – a former Harps player – can’t connect properly. SR 0 FH 0

27 – Mailey heads on from Funston’s long throw. Curran gets there ahead of goalkeeper, Ciaran Nugent, and while the Harps striker goes down and the visitors look for a penalty the appeals are waved away.

25 – Ryan Curran replaces Ruairi Keating, who has come off injured.

There’s not much happening here. Not much at all…nothing in fact!

15 – Harkin’s ball in is flicked on by Cowan towards Keating, but Sligo manage to avert the danger. SR 0 FH 0

9 – Ruairi Keating fires over from just inside the box after Sean Houston

6 – Sligo have former Harps man Pat McCann in their midfield; Harps have ex-Sligo men Richard Brush and Ruairi Keating in their ranks. Regan Donelon, who spent some time on loan at Harps, is on the bench for the hosts. SR 0 FH 0

0 – GAME ON at the Showgrounds. SR 0 FH 0

Former Harps player Pat McCann is included in the Sligo team tonight and is set to line out at centre-back.

Horgan has made five changes to his team tonight with recalls for Richard Brush, Barry Molloy, Michael Funston, Adam Hanlon and Packie Mailey. Harps are searching for a first win in three months, but come in on the back of a positive last half-an-hour in Galway on Saturday.

Harps fell three behind before Ruairi Keating and Adam Hanlon netted as Harps tried to mount a comeback. Keating’s goal was Harps’ first in 799 minutes of football.

The Harps team tonight is: Richard Brush; Damien McNulty, Keith Cowan, Packie Mailey; Ethan Boyle, Adam Hanlon, Michael Funston, Barry Molloy, Gareth Harkin; Sean Houston; Ruairi Keating.
