FULL-TIME – UCD 0-1 FINN HARPS

90+4 mins – Phew! Gary O’Neil goes down in the box as Keith Cowan challenges but the UCD skipper is booked for diving.

90+2 mins – Another huge chance for UCD comes and goes as – following a free-kick from Gary O’Neill, Harps struggle to clear and Mark Langtry’s follow-up is only partially blocked by BJ Banda and Mick Leahy shoots wide from 12 yards. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps

90 mins – FOUR minutes injury time … UCD 0-1 Finn Harps

88 mins – Brilliant save from Ciaran Gallagher in a one-on-one with Jack Watson, who pierced through a crowd of players and into space. Gallagher stood firm and is now just over a minute away from his 17th clean sheet this season – from 32 games. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps

87 mins – With UCD goalkeeper Conor O’Donnell – who is from Buncrana – struggling to get back into his area having come out to concede a throw-in, Tony McNamee’s half-volley from 25 yards is just over. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps

86 mins – WEIRD! A throw-in from Tony McNamee bounces into the UCD net and Harps celebrate a second goal but referee Ben Connolly says nobody touched the ball so no goal! UCD 0-1 Finn Harps

85 mins – Gary O’Neill’s shot from the edge of the Harps box is just over Ciaran Gallagher’s crossbar following a pull-back from Mark Langtry. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps

78 mins – Worry for Harps as Kevin McHugh hobbles off and is replaced by Michael Funston. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps

75 mins –  Let-off for Harps as, after a scramble in the box, Jamie Doyle’s belter hits Packie Mailey in the chest. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps

65 mins – Vital block from Damien McNulty from Conor Cannon, who turned in a crowded penalty area. Harps still lead by that first minute Ciaran Coll goal at Belfield. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 64 mins –  Kevin McHugh shoots well over Conor O’Donnell, leaning back as he attempted to strike from outside the area. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 61 mins – BJ Banda – who scored two goals on his first start for Harps last week in the 4-1 win over Wexford Youths – is on for Wilfried Tagbo. Huge welcome from the visiting support for the 17-year-old Raphoe Royal & Prior student. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 59 mins – Wilfried Tagbo sees a close-range shot cannon off the UCD post but referee Ben Connolly had whistled as Damien McNulty was penalised for leaning on Mark Langtry. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 57 mins – UCD’s Robbie Benson is back from his recent injury lay-off and is on. He gets booked within seconds. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 54 mins – Mark Langtry, the UCD left-back, sees his path to goal blocked by Josh Mailey and skews his shot well wide of Ciaran Gallagher’s goal. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 49 mins – Keith Cowan’s header from Tony McNamee’s corner is wide of the target. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 46 mins – Second half is underway at the Belfield Bowl. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps HALF-TIME – UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 45+7  mins – Mark Leahy heads just wide of the Finn Harps goal after Tomas Boyle flicked on a corner from Gary O’Neill. Harps have lived dangerously on occasion in this first half. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 45+3 mins – Worrying for Harps defender Damien McNulty who looks as though he’s picked up a recurrence of a shoulder injury that had kept him sidelined until a fortnight ago. He’s battling on, though! UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 45 mins – There will be six added minutes at the end of the first half after a couple of injuries, with Ciaran Coll of Harps and UCD’s Maxi Kouogun having to be replaced in the first half. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 44 mins –  Ciaran Gallagher has to scamper across his goalline as a header from Conor Cannon after a cross from Mark Langtry goes just wide of the post. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 42 mins – Jamie Doyle is set clear down the left by a pass from Ryan Swan but opts to shoot early and blazes over and wide. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps Harps vocal support here at Belfield giving a rendition of ‘Hill’s of Donegal’ Ballybofey-based photographer Gary Foy caught Ciaran Coll’s first minute celebration perfectly! Ciaran Coll UCD 36 mins – Gareth Harkin creates a great chance for himself as he plays the ball through a square UCD defence following Kevin McHugh’s initial pass. Harkin outpaces Mark Leahy but couldn’t keep his shot on target. Great play from Harkin to create the chance – it was like Kevin Kilbane in his prime. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 34 mins – Sub for UCD as Matthew Tobin replaces Maxi Kouogun.  UCD 0-1 Finn Harps 32 mins  – The closest that Harps have come to a second goal as Kevin McHugh – who shot from the edge of the penalty area – sees his shot deflected wide by Jack Watson. UCD 0-1 Finn Harps
