FULL-TIME: Big win for Harps as they head for the play-offs on the back of a 4-1 win

77 mins: GOAL Banda’s corner finds McHugh and he fires home his 185th Finn Harps goal. 4-1

72 mins: GOAL A second for Banda, whose shot squirms under Graham Doyle. 3-1

61 mins – sub: Kevin McHugh replaces Wilfried Tagbo

56 mins: GOAL BJ Banda fires home after taking Kieran McDaid’s pass. 2-1

46 mins: The second half is underway at Finn Park

HALF-TIME: Finn Harps 1-1 Wexford Youths

41 mins: GOAL Long ball by Dermody and Danny Furlong’s header loops over Gallagher for the equaliser. That’s Furlong’s 30th goal of the campaign, Brian de Salvo informs me. 1-1

40 mins: McNulty’s shot deflects off Ryan Delaney and comes off the post. Powerful effort by McNulty. 1-0

37 mins: Shane Dunne’s free is helped gaolbird by Chris Kenny, but Ciaran Gallagher gets his fingertips to it on the floor and Harps manage to survive the subsequent corner. 1-0

35 mins: RED CARD for Willie Tyrell as he clashes with Tagbo, again, for his second yellow card of the evening. 1-0

27 mins: Matthew Crossan goes close with a cracking free-kick, but Graham Doyle turns it away.

17 mins: Tony McNamee converts and it’s 1-0 to Harps. Wilfried Tagbo went down under Willie Tyrell’s challenge as he went to connect with Banda’s free. 1-0

16 mins: PENALTY TO HARPS

8 mins: Tony McNamee’s corner finds Packie Mailey, but a free header goes wide. 0-0

6 mins: Chris Kenny feeds Eric Molloy, but he curls his shot wide.

1 min: The game has kicked off with Harps attacking the River End in the first half.

Perhaps no surprise, but there is a dreadfully poor attendance at Finn Park tonight. Strange that making the play-offs early has worked to the club’s disadvantage, for a couple of weeks’ finances at least.

Wexford Youths, the SSE Airtricity League of Ireland First Division champions, are given a guard of honour by Harps as they take to the field.

Finn Harps: Ciaran Gallagher; Keith Cowan, Matthew Crossan, Packie Mailey; Damien McNulty, Michael Funston, Tony McNamee, Kieran McDaid, Ciaran Coll; BJ Banda; Wilfried Tagbo.

Subs: Kevin McHugh, Gareth Harkin, Conor Keddy, Lee McCarron, Josh Mailey, Gareth Doherty.

Ollie Horgan makes four changes tonight as Damien McNulty, Tony McNamee, Wilfried Tagbo and Ciaran Coll return to the starting line-up. BJ Banda retains his place in attack while Kieran McDaid keeps his spot in the midfield.
