Full-time: A comfortable 3-0 win for Finn Harps is enough to seal second spot in the SSE Airtricity League First Division. A dominant performance from start to finish and three second half goals – through Nathan Boyle, Gareth Harkin and Raymond Foy are enough against the 10-man students, who had Chris Mulhall sent off in the first half. Wexford have won Division One after a 3-0 win over Athlone Town.

90 mins – The champagne about to be popped at Ferrycarrig Park. Well done to Wexford Youths. Harps can be content with their second placed finish and take a chance on the play-offs. 3-0

Wexford Youths 2 – 0 Athlone Town GOAL! 84’ – Eric Molloy scores for Wexford Youths

85 mins – Kieran McDaid, who has just come on, has just been off target with two efforts. 3-0

80 mins – Wexford are headed for the title and Harps will cement second place. As it stands, UCD will be just one point ahead of Shelbourne, who are 3-0 up tonight on Waterford United.

Wexford Youths 1 – 0 Athlone Town GOAL! 62’ – Danny Furlong scores for Wexford Youths.

67 mins – GOAL! Raymond Foy, who made his way into the UCD penalty area and cut inside to shoot past Conor O’Donnell. Super goal. It’s been announced here “Harps’ third goal and it’s MICHAEL FUNSTON”. We can assure you that it’s Raymond Foy. Finn Harps 3-0 UCD

61 mins – Bit of a blow with Tony McNamee hobbling off. Michael Funston replaces the Ramelton native. 2-0

59 mins – GOAL! Lovely finish from Gareth Harkin, who runs onto a Kevin McHugh pass, which may or may not have been intended for Nathan Boyle but made it’s way to Harkin. Finn Harps 2-0 UCD

58 mins – Yellow card for Kevin McHugh. 1-0

50 mins – Almost a second for Boyle, who doesn’t have a great connection on his shot but goalkeeper Conor O’Donnell in the UCD goal lets the ball trickle through his legs and is relieved to see it hit the side netting inches from the post. 1-0

48 mins – GOAL! Nathan Boyle tucks home the first goal of the evening following a pullback from Josh Mailey, after he was set free down the right by Tony McNamee. It’s been coming! And it’s come from Harps’ 13th shot on goal. Well deserved. Finn Harps 1-0 UCD

45+2: Brilliant turn and shot from the edge of the area by Nathan Boyle – their 12th shot of the first half – flies inches wide at the Town End. It’s the last action of the half. Finn Harps 0-0 UCD

39 mins – How is this still 0-0? A shoe from the edge of the area from Raymond Foy brings a fingertip save from O’Donnell. Then Boyle’s centre finds no takers. 0-0

37 mins – Scuffed shot from Nathan Boyle trickles wide. Harps have been decent in this first half but nothing to show for it as yet. 0-0

30 mins – First concerted spell from UCD in the Harps half but a corner from Darragh O’Connor comes to nothing. 0-0

28 mins –  Ciaran Coll shoots past Conor O’Donnell in the UCD but Kevin McHugh, who laid on the chance, is flagged for offside and it remains scoreless. 0-0

20 mins – Red card for UCD’s Chris Mulhall, who got involved with Ciaran Coll, possibly a stamp. 0-0

17 mins – Harps continue to press and Josh Mailey makes space on the right hand side, superbly, but his centre is cleared by Mark Leahy as Packie Mailey closes in. 0-0

14 mins – Harps have made a decent start and Raymond Foy shoots over from the edge of the area. 0-0

3 mins – Tony McNamee shoots right at Conor O’Donnell in the UCD after a squared ball from the right by Josh Mailey. 0-0

Finn Harps go into tonight’s penultimate home fixture in the SSE Airtricity League First Division knowing a draw against UCD will seal a play-off spot and a home win will seal second place.
