FINN HARPS are back in action tonight when they face Shamrock Rovers at Finn Park – and we’ll have live updates throughout the game.

FULL-TIME: Finn Harps 0 Shamrock Rovers 2

80 mins: GOAL for Shamrock Rovers as Dean Clarke, the sub, fires home. Curtains! FH 0 SR 2

Subs on for Shamrock Rovers – Dean Clarke and former Ireland international Stephen McPhail.

54 mins: GOAL for Shamrock Rovers as Sean Boyd blasts home after brilliant footwork by Brandon Miele. FH 0 SR 1

The second half is underway.

HT: Finn Harps 0 Shamrock Rovers 0

“There’ll be one minute of stoppage time…”

43 mins: Ethan Boyle is the latest player to be booked. Ruairi Keating has also been yellow carded.

31 mins: McCabe gives the ball away and Houston siezes control. His ball through finds Keating, whose shot is well turned away by Hyland. From McNamee’s corner, Keating stabs wide. Harps should have been ahead there. FH 0 SR 0

30 mins: Miele plays Madden in down the right edge of the box and his dangerous cross is headed out by Ethan Boyle. FH 0 SR 0

24 mins: Not a lot happening here. Rovers having the better of the play, mind you. FH 0 SR 0

19 mins: Danger as McCabe slips in Simon Madden, who is challenged by Richard Brush and the ball goes out for a corner. Ciaran C0ll and Madden are booked for the ‘afters’. FH 0 SR 0

9 mins: Gary McCabe is very fortunate to escape without a booking after clattering Keating. The free-kick for Harps comes to nothing, though.

8 mins: Very small crowd at Finn Park for tonight’s game and the atmosphere is pretty tame so far here.

7 mins: Harps have forced a corner. Harkin pops it out to Funston, whose cross is held by Hyland.

20 seconds: Tony McNamee’s cross is cut out by Rovers goalkeeper Craig Hyland.

The game has kicked off.

Finn Harps: Richard Brush; Ethan Boyle, Keith Cowan, Packie Mailey, Ciaran Coll; Michael Funston, Sean Houston, Barry Molloy, Gareth Harkin; Tony McNamee; Ruairi Keating.

After a run of four games without a win and with his team searching for their first goal in as many games, Ollie Horgan, the Harps manager, has made three changes to his team: Gareth Harkin, Michael Funston and Ruairi Keating come in with Thomas McMonagle, Ryan Curran and Josh Mailey making way.

Harps had no game last week as it was FAI Cup week. Shamrock Rovers overcame Athlone Town 5-0 last week and Stephen Bradley, the Rovers boss, has also made three changes: Gary Shaw, Pat Cregg and Shane Hanney take the places of David Webster, Killian Brennan and Dean Clarke.
