Finn Harps are taking on Derry City at Finn Park in the 62nd north-west derby tonight – and we have all the action as it happens.

FT – Harps 0 Derry City 5

88 – Keith Ward lobs over Brush for a fifth.

84 – Schubert makes it 4-0 with a breakaway goal.

75 – Sting has gone out of this game. Derry will be up to second now, provided Cork and Bohs finish as it is – 0-0 – and with Wexford currently winning against Longford they could be within five points of Harps by the end of the night…

63 – Scully goes close, but Doherty is out well to block, while Curran’s low shot is gathered by the City ‘keeper.

Finn Harps have since introduced Adam Hanlon, Dave Scully and Raymond Foy to the play. McMonagle, McNamee and Josh Mailey.

53 – Nathan Boyle makes it 3-0. Vemelund plays the ball down the line to Jarvis, whose centre is tucked home by Boyle. FH 0 DC 3

Second half is underway …

Replays of the first penalty award show that Schubert was a good bit outside the box when Coll came in with the challenge. It was flagged by the linesman, Darren Corcoran.

HT – Aaron McEneff’s two penalties have Derry City 2-0 ahead at the break.

43 – and McEneff tucks home again. Two-nil City and a long way back from here for Harps. FH 0 DC 2

42 – PENALTY AGAIN for City. Scubert, again, wins it, going down under Molloy’s challenge. Definite penalty.

33 – Conor McDermott, who has been excellent so far at right-back for Derry, does well to work his way in from the right but shoots off target.

28 – Pot shot by Houston is straight at Derry goalkeeper Doherty. The visitors have the lead through McEneff’s penalty. FH 0 DC 1

18 – …SCORES IT. Down low to Brush’s right at the Town End and Derry have the lead. FH 0 DC 1

18 – Aaron McEneff to take it…

17 – PENALTY to Derry as Ciaran Coll fouls Lukas Schubert…Big moment…

15 – Harps’ first shot of the night comes from Curran, but Doherty saves. FH 0 DC 0

15 – Josh Mailey’s back header almost catches Brush out, but the keeper saves after Schubert’s ball in. FH 0 DC 0

9 – Derry have forced their fourth corner of the game…but Brush punches it clear. FH 0 DC 0

8 – Great ball by Barry McNamee tees up Nathan Boyle in around the back. Gets behind Keith Cowan but his shot is touched away for a corner by Brush. FH 0 DC 0

2 – Conor McCormack drives a shot into the hands of Richard Brush, the Harps goalkeeper. FH 0 DC 0

Captain Ryan McBride is in to replace Harry Monaghan and Nathan Boyle, the ex-Harps man, is in for Joshua Daniels on the Derry team.

Derry City manager Kenny Shiels was quoted in this morning’s Derry Journal as having said that he requested this game to be called off – because he had an injury crisis!! But, bar Aaron Barry, Derry are at full strength…

Harps manager Ollie Horgan is without the suspended Ruairi Keating, with his place taken in the starting XI taken by Derry native Ryan Curran, who scored against Derry on the opening night of the season when Harps defeated the Candystripes 2-1.

Finn Harps: Richard Brush; Keith Cowan, Packie Mailey, Thomas McMonagle; Ethan Boyle, Josh Mailey, Barry Molloy, Tony McNamee, Ciaran Coll; Sean Houston; Ryan Curran.
