Finn Harps have made the trip to The Carlisle Grounds to face Bray Wanderers tonight in their second game of the 2017 season – and we’ll have all the action here as it happens:

FULL-TIME BRAY WANDERERS 5 FINN HARPS 3

Harry Doherty has done very well since coming on here. Three brilliant saves to keep the score at 5-3

74 – Beautiful McCourt corner and an even better header by Ethan Boyle. 5-3

74 GOAL FOR FINN HARPS

68 – Doherty does well to save from Connolly, but the follow-up is steered in by Connolly. 5-2

68 – GOAL FOR BRAY

Ciaran Gallagher being withdrawn here. Game really ought to have been stopped with Gallagher down. Harry Doherty on for his Harps debut. 4-2

58 – Ah ffs. Bray get a fourth as McCabe finishes from distance. Gallagher was on the ground after a clash of heads. 4-2

57 – Caolan McAleer inches away from a leveller. A spinning shot flies just over the top from a clever throw-in by Coll. 3-2

54 – Chance for Harps from a corner by Bonner. Ball falls to Cantwell, whose shot is deflected out

O’Connor nets his second. Ball around the back by Ciaran Coll. O’Connor still had work to do, but he did it and although Cherrie forced the save, the ball ends up in the net. 3-2

48 GOAL FINN HARPS

46 – we’re underway for the second half here.

HALF-TIME BRAY WANDERERS 3 FINN HARPS 1

43 – Cross from the right by Conor Kenna is headed home by Aaron Greene. 3-1

43 – GOAL BRAY WANDERERS

37 – A fine save by Ciaran Gallagher keeps out an effort by Flood. 2-1

33 – Jonny Bonner – who has again been excellent – floats in a free kick. It comes off the goalframe and O’Connor manages to finish. 2-1

33 – Harps have a GOAL and it’s Ciaran O’Connor’s first goal in Harps colours. Game on 2-1

27 mins – Sean Houston hooks wide from a cross by O’Connor. 2-0

20 – Gary McCabe makes it 2-0 to Bray. Awarding of the penalty extremely harsh handball against Michael Funston. Could be a long night ahead…

20 – PENALTY TO BRAY…

15 – Chance for Harps. O’Connor, after missing the ball with a wild swing, forces a save from Peter Cherrie. 1-0

9 – Ethan Boyle fouls Dylan Connolly just outside the box. McCabe’s free at Gallahger is palmed down by Gallagher and in the ensuing scramble Anthony Flood fires home. 1-0 Bray. Poor goal for Harps to concede.

9 – GOAL FOR BRAY WANDERERS

5 – What a turn by Jonny Bonner opens up the chance for Sean Houston, who goes to ground, but no penalty given despite strong appeals. 0-0

5 – Bray’s Gary McCabe curls a free-kick over the crossbar. Didn’t trouble Ciaran Gallagher. 0-0

Decent ball across by Ciaran O’Connor for Caolan McAleer – who has started wide left in a five-man Harps midfield – but the Tyrone man strayed just offside

We’re underway at The Carlisle Grounds…

Schoolboy error from your correspondent, folks. Turned up to a League of Ireland ground and asked: “Is there Wifi, lads?” Of course there bloody isn’t!

Harps manager Ollie Horgan has shown just one change to his XI from last week with Michael Funston in to replace Danny Morrissey, who does start on the bench.

The Harps team is: Ciaran Gallagher; Ethan Boyle, Damien McNulty, Killian Cantwell, Ciaran Coll; Caolan McAleer, Michael Funston, Barry Molloy, Jonny Bonner; Sean Houston; Ciaran O’Connor.
