ALMOST 300 CHILDREN took part in the Little Athletics meeting held by Finn Valley Athletic Club yesterday evening.
The competition is designed to give children an opportunity to build confidence ahead of other events, such as the Primary Schools Athletics finals to be held at Finn Valley AC on May 11.

A range of track and field events were held on the night with competition open to children from the ages of 8 to 13.
298 children took part with athletes from Finn Valley, Cranford, Milford, Melvin, Lifford-Strabane, Corran, South Sligo, Olympian and Inishowen attending.
