Layla Alvey captained St Naul’s to victory over St Eunan’s in the IFC final this afternoon at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey.

Alvey paid tribute to her fellow panellists for keeping their focus when collective training wasn’t allowed and each did their own before they got to regroup and push towards their championship.

Today, they were 1-16 to 2-9 winners over the Letterkenny side having managed to put some space between the teams in the second half. Alvey spoke to Alan Foley afterwards.
