Letterkenny Gaels booked a place in the semi-finals of the Junior A Championship – and manager Sean McBrearty believes there is nothing between the sides left standing.
The Gaels go to the semis after Conor McBrearty kicked 1-5 in a 1-11 to 0-13 win over St Mary’s, Convoy yesterday afternoon.
Gaels’ win means they’re in a semi-final while the Convoy men will have to play a quarter-final.
“Convoy battled hard and we kept them at arm’s length,” McBrearty said.
“We have a lot of work to do if we’re to win a Junior Championship.
“It was a worry in the last ten or 15 minutes that they could have got the goal.”
