Raphoe captain Sabrina Barnett was delighted with her sides quick start to their game against Weston Ladies on Saturday.
The West Donegal outfit secured a 6-0 victory against the Dublin opposition and Barnett, who got on the score sheet, talked to Donegal Sport Hub’s Charlie Collins following the game.
“Yeah, the girls came out hard,” she said. “We said before we started that we were going to go out and play the hockey we’ve played recently against the Ulster teams.
“We got on the score sheet quite early there, so we are with that, and we took advantage of them making the long journey up today, we got off to a good start.”
