Stephen McMenamin says the Red Hughs pressure broke Emyvale’s resistance in yesterday’s Ulster JFC semi-final in Omagh.
Emyvale were five up and on their way to a final until Red Hughs clicked.
The Killygordon men were excellent over the last 20 minutes to score a famous win for Seosamh Mac Ceallabhuí’s men.
“It was shaky,” McMenamin admitted.
“We never looked like we were gone and we kept fighting. We did everything right in the second half. We put pressure on them and they couldn’t get it out. They had to go long then. Our half-forwards won a lot of breaking ball and won the game for us.”
