Maxi Curran believes the experience of playing in front of a huge crowd – and winning in that arena – will stand to the Donegal ladies.

The Tir Chonaill side had 20 points to spare by the finish after hitting six goals in a 6-11 to 0-9 win at Sean MacCumhaill Park.

“It was nice to put on a display and play well,” Curran said.

“They all played really well and that’s what you want on a day like this.

“It was part pf per thinking to have the game here with a big crowd.

“There were 46,000 at the All-Ireland final last year so that would be a new experience if we were lucky enough to get there. it was to heighten their experience of playing in front of a big crowd.”
