Listen: Kilcar’s Ciaran McGinley glad to see his team get over the line against St Michael’s

written by Alan Foley September 9, 2020

Ciaran McGinley admits Kilcar were “under pressure” against St Michael’s and was glad to see his team get over the line to set up a Donegal SFC against Gaoth Dobhair.

Kilcar were 12 points up at one stage but having lost Brian O’Donnell through injury and then saw his replacement Conor McShane black-carded before coming through on a 3-14 to 3-12 scoreline.

McGinley admitted it was a strange experience playing behind closed doors on their home patch in Towney but all in all was relived his team live to fight another day.
