Listen: “It’ll be all for nothing if we don’t win on Sunday” – Paul Brennan

Paul Brennan says Donegal’s hard work until now will be worthless unless they capture the Ulster title on Sunday.

Donegal face underdogs Fermanagh in Clones in what is Donegal’s seventh Ulster final in eight years.

Brennan, who previously lined out for Leitrim seniors, has been a huge asset since being drafted into the Donegal senior squad by Rory Gallagher, who is guiding Fermanagh’s beacon for Sunday’s decider.

“We still haven’t achieved anything,” Brennan said.

“Being there doesn’t mean anything if we don’t have an Ulster medal in our back pockets. It’ll be all for nothing if we don’t win it.

“We set out at the start of the year to get to an Ulster final and put ourselves in a position where we could contest it. It would be foolish to think we could do this weekend what we did to the other teams. Fermanagh will be a different ball game for us.”
