The new NABF middleweight champion Jason Quigley has a message for kids in Donegal – ‘anything is possible’.

Quigley defeated Glen Tapia on Thursday night by unanimous decision at a sold-out Fantasy Springs, Indio, California to capture the NABF crown.

The Ballybofey man is now 13-0 as a professional boxer after the win, despite having to box one-handed for eight rounds after injuring his hand in the second stanza.

“A man coming from Ballybofey in Donegal to sell out an arena in Fantasy Springs, California – what’s that all about?” Quigley said.

“I’m a normal person that came from Ballybofey with a dream and a goal.

“I worked hard. There is nothing special or great about me…It is possible.”
