Francie Friel was pleased with how his Donegal Under-17s came from behind against Down today to reach the Jim McGuigan Cup final.
[adrotate group=”91″]“We didn’t get off to a good start, but in fairness we grew into the game,” Friel said.
“We found it hard to get on the ball in the first half, but we got to grips with it in the second half. We really pushed it on.
“We were only a point down at half-time, which was good considering how we’d played. Oisin kicked some good scores under pressure. That’s what he’s there for.”
