Finn Harps Director Kathy Taafe says the club has been heartened by the response to the club’s promotion to the Premier Division.
Harps returned to the top flight at the first attempt in 2018 thanks to the play-off win over Limerick.
Heading into a ten-team Premier Division for the first time, Harps face a big task to stay up.
The club held a public meeting last night and it was a well-attended event at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Letterkenny.
“We’re very heartened,” she said.
“It’s brilliant. It’s never easy to ask for money, but the reality is that our chance of retaining Premier Division relies on filling the till. It’s as simple as that.
“Our budget for too many seasons have relied on attendance on match days.”
Kathy outlined a number of fundraising ventures to Charlie Collins.
