Finn Harps are facing a tight financial situation over the next month with a four-week gap between two home fixtures.
Harps conclude their regulation League season when they face Cabinteely on Saturday night.
Harps have already secured second spot and means they will feature in the platy-off semi-final, the second leg of which takes place at Finn Park on October 19.
With Harps’ weekly outgoings in the €5,000 ballpark and have a real battle on their hands.
However, the club has a fundraising draw with tickets on sale to ease the burden while officials are appealing for a big crowd to turn out for Saturday’s game.
“We want people to come out and acknowledge what Ollie (Horgan) and the lads have achieved,” club secretary John Campbell said.
“Ollie had to rebuild the team and to get to the play-offs is an achievement in itself. Now, we want to push on to the next level.
“We have a game this Saturday night and there isn’t another income until the 19th of October.
“The contracts are running and people need to be very clear about that. Every player will be played until we’re either out of the competition or promoted.”
