Listen: Donegal’s Jamie Brennan’s full focus is trained on Down

Donegal forward Jamie Brennan isn’t taking his focus off Down on Sunday.

Donegal are 70 minutes from an Ulster final, but have the Mournes – last year’s Ulster finalists – against them on Sunday in the semi-final.

After Fermanagh’s dispatch of Monaghan on Sunday, Brennan is mindful of complacency.

“The only thing in our view is Down on Sunday,” he said.

“They have key players all over the pitch. We’re going to have to keep an eye on them. You don’t want anything to happen us like happened Monaghan.

“We don’t want to be losing two semi-finals in a row.”

Brennan has established himself as one of Donegal’s front-line men this year and added: “I’m enjoying it. You want to play for Donegal growing up. It’s great having top quality players like Michael and Patrick around you. It’s good enjoyment and it brings the best out of everyone. We’re becoming a tight-knit group.”
