Eilish Ward was the picture of delight as she and her St Naul’s team-mates got ready to take the Donegal Intermediate title back to Mountcharles and the surrounding areas.
Ward netted one of the goals in the 4-13 to 1-8 win over St Eunan’s in Convoy.
Layla Alvey bagged a brace of goals and Sarah Shovlin netted the other for St Naul’s (Pictured above by Joe Boland, North West News Pix)
“It’s brilliant to win,” Ward said.
“To come straight up and win it is fantastic. We’re just delighted.
“We were able to build up a lead and that made a huge different. We were able to just protect that lead.”
