Declan and Brian Boyle in the WRC Fiesta lead the entry field for the 2017 Shandon Spa & Hotel Donegal Harvest Stages Rally with the Lettermacaward cousins going for a fourth Harvest title on the spin.

This year, the event is being held in and around the Dunfanaghy area with three stages, each to be done three times, and 116km of stage tarmac for the competitors to tackle.

The Boyles are the number 1 seeds with Joseph McGonigle, David Bogie, Damian Gallagher, Brian Brogan, Damien Toner, Damien Tourish and Kevin Eves among the other leading candidates.

“From the word go, it’s flat out as hard as you can go,” Declan Boyle says.

“It is a tall order. We’re definitely looking forward to it. I love his event. I haven’t had a great year, but I’m looking forward to getting out and at it. We’ve done these stages before and they’re nice stages.”
