David Bogie will compete in Rally GB in early October – but the Scottish driver is also excited about coming to Donegal for the 2018 Donegal Harvest Stages Rally next month.

Bogie has been to the county several times for the Donegal International Rally, but admits that the ‘Harvest’ has been on his bucket list.

Bogie is one of six Scottish competitors who have entered the October 13 rally, based out of Jackson’s Hotel in Ballybofey, with Gordon Morrison, Brian Watson, Lee Hastings, Shaun Sinclair and Barry Groundwater also in the mix.

“There’s a massive turnout from Scotland,” he said. The Donegal atmosphere is starting to spread and everyone is looking forward to it.

“Anyone who knows me knows how passionate I am about rallying in Donegal. The Harvest Rally is one I haven’t done but it’s been on the bucket list.

“We’ll have to be at our best and hit the ground running. We need to be as fast as we can be without making any mistakes.”
