YOU JUST CAN’T keep a good man down.


Naomh Colmcille’s Michael Lynch, who suffered an injury with broken bone in his hand in the Ulster JFC quarter-final win over Ballymachugh just two weeks ago, defied the doctor’s orders to line out for the Newtowncunningham club last night in their semi-final. Ryan McKinley’s team produced a superb 2-7 to 1-9 victory over the well-fancied Tattyreagh from Tyrone.
