Brian McGeehin got a text from his good friend Michael Molloy after the draw for the Donegal minor football championship was made: ‘See you in the final’.
The two are good friends through their work with underage Donegal teams and Molloy’s text proved prophetic as Kilcar and St Eunan’s will contest the minor final.
Kilcar defeated Naomh Columba on Wednesday night in Fintra and last night St Eunan’s hammered Ardara 3-10 to 0-5 at The Banks.
“It will be a tough final,” McGeehin said.
“Kilcar are well set up, well organised and well managed. They beat a fantastic MacCumhaills team and a fantastic Glen team.
“It is all to play for. Hopefully we can get a performance – it’s all about who can deliver the performance.”
